Acclaimed theatre director Sir Jonathan Miller will be speaking at the University of Liverpool during European Capital of Culture year.
Four leaders in their field are to visit the University in 2008 to present a series of public lectures.
The lectures, covering the themes of religion, film, theatre and biology, begin on Tuesday 29th January with acclaimed theatre director Sir Jonathan Miller.
Evolutionary theorist Professor Richard Dawkins, scientist Lord Robert Winston and playwright Willy Russell will also be speaking as part of the series. The lectures are free but places are limited.
