Developing the talents of young and aspiring filmmakers has always been a significant part of FACT’s programme. In 2008 you will be able to see two new feature films commissioned from the winners of Young Liverpool Film Night last October, made possible by two production grants from First Light. Next year, selected entries from FACT’s regular open film night for older wannabe directors will be part of the 2008 Liverpool Film Night Awards, supported by Atlantic Chambers; barristers practising law in Liverpool.
