Call for Submissions
Introduction
Chester Performs is planning a film and digital media happening for Chester.
A celebration of a digital age - screenings, family events, new work,
projection, networking, youth and student culture and animation. Taking
place
around the city, indoors and out, the festival offers a range of
opportunities
for schools, community groups, artists and individuals to get involved.
Chester Performs aims to provide a platform for talent, innovation and
enthusiasm.
The festival will take place Monday 9th - Sunday 15th June 2008
Chester Performs is seeking submissions of both new and existing work by
filmmakers from Cheshire and the surrounding region (work by North West and
North Wales filmmakers also accepted).
Chester Performs is also looking for expressions of interest from digital
media artists based in Cheshire and the surrounding region (work by North
West
and North Wales artists also considered) to take part in Chester Performs'
inaugural Screen Deva festival in June.
