7 @ The Anglican is the latest exhibition of Liverpool based artists, the '7 @ Group'. After meeting and forming on the LJMU Fine Art course during 2006, the group, all of whom have recently graduated, have exhibited together numerous times across Liverpool. This latest exhibition at the magificant setting of the Anglican Cathedral, will see three new members, Alice Roberts, Kirsty Evans and Keiron Finnetty exhibit alongside six original members.

The artists are not brought together by a common theme or method of working, but by chance and are driven onwards by the spirit of exploration and collaboration. The relationships between the artists - whether intentional or co-incidental - and their dissimilarities are evident and both equally vital to the reception of the works.

This presentation of individual works within a group context offers singular contemplation of the work as well as a overall collective judgement. This double entendre allows both the uniqueness and disparateness of the works to be appreciated and the overall aims and desires of the artists to be acknowledged.
