Culture Pool Urban Picnic and Unplugged Line Up

The line up for Thursday November 8th at Parr Street has been released and we’re very excited! Plus, culturepool has its very own VIP space and members will have the opportunity to receive a free CD copy of The Cubicle’s latest album, which will only be available for download in the UK… see the website for more details (www.culturepool.org.uk)

The Cubicle, a great band from St Helens who have been going since 2003 who’ve recently recorded an album in Sunset Studios, Hollywood with the famous producer Dave Sardy (Jet, Oasis, Primal Scream).

Strawhouses formed in 2005, ‘intense and emotional live sets, with gripping melodies and soaring guitars underpinned by inventive and original rhythms and beats.’

The Prelude (to be confirmed). A Liverpool band featured as ‘Ones to Watch’ in Clash Magazine’s September 2007 issue. Described as melding Dylan with the wildness of The Pogues.

Urban Picnic as part of BBC Radio 3's Free Thinking Festival
A gentle walk which will take around an hour, with regular stops for discussions. We'll finish at FACT on Wood Street where you can take part in the Free Thinking Festival (click here for Festival events).
