Blue Orchid Placement Programme

Are you a Merseyside SME? Would you like to have a high calibre candidate free of charge on a placement scheme? Courtesy of The Mentorprise Programme from BLUE ORCHID, you can and for FREE, through European Social Funding (ESF)


This Free Service can provide you with the opportunity to utilise a fresh, enthusiastic and qualified person and their skills. The programme enables the candidate to gain valuable work based experience and entrepreneurial skills, which I am sure you will know is the hardest thing to obtain once you have finished your course or degree, but in most cases can make all the difference in starting your career.


If you feel this is something you would like to take part in, we can source a suitable candidate to fit in with your companies’ team of staff. You can take placement of the candidate for a period of up to 12weeks. There is no charge to you and in addition, at the end of the 12 weeks if you feel the candidate has proved that they are indispensable and you wish to offer them a permanent position, there is no transfer fee and it may be possible for funding to be obtained to pay for additional training*.


To enable Blue Orchid to provide this service to you there are criteria that we need to meet in accordance with the ESF requirements, these include:



· An onsite visit and completion of a brief Health and Safety questionnaire by Mentorprise Staff

· A photocopy of the Host Companies Liability Insurance provided

· A photocopy of the Host Companies designated mentors wage slip (to match funding and provide evidence of legitimacy of the company)
