Artist Wanted- Anti Bullying Project

Visual artists are required to work with approximately 100 primary pupils and 40 Learning mentors over 2 days working towards a collaborative piece of visual art work exploring anti bullying issues, The theme is around school and community and will provide scope to explore safer routes to and from school, community cohesion, engaging parents/carers in school life, cyberbullying, and extended school provision”

The Work will be exhibited as part of Anti Bullying week 19th -23rd November 2007

The Artist is required for 2 days delivery of 4 x half day workshops to groups of about 25 pupils with up to 15 Learning Mentors in each workshop, With a 1 additional days work to pull the piece together ready for exhibiting and to create a very simple toolkit for use by the learning mentors to recreate similar themed work back in their schools

Total fee for 3 days work £540.

We would like proposals from visual artists with suggestions and ideas for an innovative piece of collaborative Artwork and outlining your experience and skills to successfully deliver the workshops and to create the Final piece of work.

Artists must have an up to date CRB check and Public Liability Insurance.
